The Christ Sacrificed vs The Jesus Assasinated
The Christ Sacrificed: an image created by institutionalized Christianity to be worshipped and adored.
The Jesus Assasinated: the rebel who called for reformation and started a revolution whose words and actions offended leadership and caused havoc.
The first inspires law, religion, and is a tool for spiritual suppression.
The second inspires enlightenment, freedom, and is a tool for self-healing and reformation.
So if you ask me if I am a Christian, I will say no. But if you ask me if I am a spiritual person I will say yes. Yes, I am a child of God. Yes, the kingdom of heaven is within me. Yes, Jesus was a great example of how we all should aspire to live our lives.... just like the Buddah, among others.
