A prayer for the start of the New year, from Llewellyns' 2011 Witches Spell-A-Day Almanac. Adapted by me for all faiths.
Oh ______________
I call upon you to witness my work; I trust in your wisdom. As I walk my path, I release attachment to outcomes; and I embrace the alignment of my inner and outer worlds.
Today, I make a commitment to myself and all that makes me me. Who I have been, who I am, and who I will be.
Today I begin on a new stretch of my journey, releasing my attachment to how things play out!
And embracing the many aspects of what makes me who I am, the things of the past, the present and what will become apart of me in the future.
